Welcome to Haitian American Nurses Association
Our Mission
The purpose of the Association is to provide nurses the opportunity to unite as a group, to share and promote ideas of interest to the group, and to become effectively involved with the issues and services relevant to the health and welfare of the community.
History
The Haitian Nurses Association of Florida (H.A.N.A.) was founded in 1984 by Jacqueline Dasque and Alice Casimir, two registered professional nurses practicing in Miami, who saw the need to establish an organization that would provide health care services to migrant workers in the Homestead (Florida) area.
